Greenwich Village Area Attractions

Greenwich Village is home to New York University’s main campus, as well as Washington Square Park. The park is one of New York City’s most well known parks and is home to the Washington Square arch, raised to celebrate George Washington’s centennial as president of the United States. The arch was designed after the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, France. The Grey Art Gallery, the Forbes Galleries, and 2-4-1 Wednesdays are some other places of interest in Greenwich Village.

Sohooffers museums such as the New Museum of Contemporary Art, the CMA; a hands-onart museum for children, Westwood Gallery, and the New York City Fire Museum.Soho is also considered one of the fashion capitals of the world, which isreflected in the slew of boutiques and specialty stores.
